In the Turkcell Super Cup semi-final, Fenerbahçe secured a 2–0 victory over Samsunspor to book a place in the final, where they will face Galatasaray. The yellow-and-navy side’s new signing, Anthony Musaba, was the standout performer of the match, providing two assists.
Fenerbahçe and Samsunspor went head-to-head in Adana in the semi-final of the Turkcell Super Cup, which is being held for the first time under its new format. Fenerbahçe took control early, opening the scoring in the 4th minute through Kerem Aktürkoğlu. Jhon Duran doubled the lead in the 67th minute, sealing a comfortable win for his team.
Anthony Musaba made a significant impact in his first major appearance for Fenerbahçe by setting up both goals. Samsunspor’s hopes of a comeback were further diminished when Antoine Makoumbou was sent off with a red card in the 77th minute.
Fenerbahçe will now face arch-rivals Galatasaray in the Turkcell Super Cup final, which will be played on Saturday, January 10, at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium.
