Croatian midfielder Marko Rog will remain at Cagliari after his expected transfer to Turkish side Karagümrük fell through.
The deal, which was close to completion, was unexpectedly halted, keeping the 28-year-old in Sardinia for now. Rog, however, is still seeking opportunities that would offer him more regular playing time.
With strong competition in Cagliari’s midfield, his future remains uncertain. The player’s representatives are continuing to explore new options before the transfer window closes.
