Liam Rosenior is expected to be appointed Chelsea’s next head coach, provided no late complications arise.
The 40-year-old is due to hold talks with Chelsea’s sporting hierarchy on Monday as the club looks to fill the vacancy left by Enzo Maresca, who departed on January 1. Strasbourg president Marc Keller and sporting director David Weir will also travel to London to meet with BlueCo, the ownership group of both Chelsea and Strasbourg. The French club are preparing to assess potential successors for Rosenior and aim to narrow their search to a final shortlist of three names. Chelsea are eager to conclude the process swiftly, with hopes of confirming the new head coach before Wednesday’s match away at Fulham.
