The second round of the Azerbaijan Premier League has kicked off. Qarabağ FK played their first match of the season.
Despite dominating the game at home against Sumqayıt FK, Qarabağ failed to find the net. In the 72nd minute, during a counter-attack, Ronaldo Vasquez scored with a precise strike. The match ended with a 1-0 victory for Sumqayıt. With this win, Sumqayıt FK leads the league table with 6 points. New headcoach of Sumgayit FC Sasha Ilic won his second match in Azerbaijan Premier League.
