Chelsea have officially announced the loan signing of Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus.The Argentine spent the first half of the season with AC Milan, also on loan from Juve, where he scored eight goals for the Rossoneri, with the Blues now taking over until the end of the season.
Milan had agreed an 18 million loan move for the entire campaign, and now Chelsea will pay half of that, as well as maintaining a 36 million euro option to make the move permanent in the summer.Higuain has two years left on his contract with Juve, but given the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, he is not expected to return to Turin.
